Thursday, September 21 from 5-7 PM - OPEN HOUSE & Title I Family Night
Join us for our annual Open House! Meet your child's teacher, see his/her classroom and learn more about what to expect this school year!

  • Sign up for SoulFisher AfterCare (spots are limited!)
  • Check out the Little Bit Foundation's resources and services
  • Get take-home supplies for homework
  • Sign up to get your child's at-home Chromebook (will be distributed the first week of October)
  • Get 22-23 MAP scores (returning 4th/5th grade students)
  • Hear from a Moline parent about the best ways to support learning at school and home
  • Dress down tickets for all students with a parent in attendance!

Monday, September 25, 2023 - SoulFisher AfterCare begins
Students must be ENROLLED in SoulFisher (space is limited), received confirmation of the students' acceptance, and call the main office to change students' mode of transportation.

Monday, October 2, 2023 - Fall Picture Day!
Students may dress down for pictures. Please order pictures online or send order form/money on the day of pictures.

Wednesday, October 25 and Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 3:30-7:00 PM

Mission
Moline Elementary develops leaders in critical-thinking and citizenship in a positive, safe school environment. Our Moline community fosters meaningful, trusting relationships and values collaborative partnerships with families and the community. Our educators model and facilitate a reflective mindset and culturally responsive instruction with engaging learning opportunities for all.

DISTRICT NEWS

RGSD is home to 13 schools, which serve approximately 5,700 students. Committed to providing excellent programs prior to kindergarten, RGSD is also home to the Michelle Obama Early Childhood Academic Center, which is accredited and licensed in the state of Missouri. Each year, RGSD students matriculate to excellent colleges, universities and trade schools with the skills to compete in an ever-changing world. Students from the class of 2018 were awarded more than $3 million in scholarships. RGSD students are also prepared to immediately enter the workforce.
