Welcome back to school, Trailblazers!

The first day of school is August 23rd, 2021! We are excited to welcome our scholars back for 100% in-person learning with many safety precautions in place. You can find a school supply list and uniform information below under IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS. Doors open daily at 7:50 AM (Please do not drop students off unattended before school hours). School begins at 8:05 AM. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, parent visitors are not allowed; however, staff will be available to take photographs!

Mask up, drive-thru, meet your teacher, pick up school supplies, and get ready to return to school! Please make sure all those in your vehicle over 5 years of age are wearing a mask for the health and safety of our staff who will be greeting many people.

MASK UP!

Per the Special Administrative Board's approved Return-to-School plan for the 2021-22 school year, all students will be 100% in person. 

Students, staff, and visitors must be masked upon entry to an RGSD facility. Masks should be snugly fitted, fully covering the nose and chin. Please purchase extra masks for scholars and place one in his or her backpack in case an extra is needed.

Moline Elementary develops leaders in critical-thinking and citizenship in a positive, safe school environment. Our Moline community fosters meaningful, trusting relationships and values collaborative partnerships with families and the community. Our educators model and facilitate a reflective mindset and culturally responsive instruction with engaging learning opportunities for all.

DISTRICT NEWS

RGSD is home to 13 schools, which serve approximately 5,700 students. Committed to providing excellent programs prior to kindergarten, RGSD is also home to the Michelle Obama Early Childhood Academic Center, which is accredited and licensed in the state of Missouri. Each year, RGSD students matriculate to excellent colleges, universities and trade schools with the skills to compete in an ever-changing world. Students from the class of 2018 were awarded more than $3 million in scholarships. RGSD students are also prepared to immediately enter the workforce.
