Monday, September 5 - NO SCHOOL - Labor Day

Wednesday, September 7 - 1st LATE START WEDNESDAY! And every Wednesday through March!
School starts one hour later. Bus pick-ups are one hour later. Doors open at 8:50 AM. Please do not leave scholars unattended in front of the school before 8:50. There is no adult supervision.

Monday, September 19 - 1st day of Soul Fisher Aftercare
All students must have completed enrollment form, confirmation from Soul Fisher AND inform Moline office that your child will be changing his/her primary mode of transportation.

Thursday, September 22 from 5:00-7:00 PM  Open House/Title I Parent & Family Night
Join us and get the chance to meet your child's teacher(s); visit his/her classroom; learn a basic overview of what your scholar will learn this year; hear about various school programs; sign up for Soul Fisher Aftercare; explore other community resources; and pick up your child's at-home Chromebook! All students who have a parent in attendance will earn a Dress Down ticket!

RGSD is home to 13 schools, which serve approximately 5,700 students. Committed to providing excellent programs prior to kindergarten, RGSD is also home to the Michelle Obama Early Childhood Academic Center, which is accredited and licensed in the state of Missouri. Each year, RGSD students matriculate to excellent colleges, universities and trade schools with the skills to compete in an ever-changing world. Students from the class of 2018 were awarded more than $3 million in scholarships. RGSD students are also prepared to immediately enter the workforce.
